The Green Waste Kericho project, launched on 23 October 2023 with the Kericho County Government, the French Government, Neo Eco and Red Leopard, uses a digital platform for real-time solid-waste management.
A connected weighbridge at the entrance of the main landfill reports straight into the platform. Every load arriving is counted — by weight, by volume and by type — which is where the additional revenue comes from.
