In Bolivia, Sparkoper is deploying an intelligent digital platform to manage MiTeleférico — the world's largest urban cable car network: 33 km, more than 1,450 cabins, carrying 220,000 passengers a day.

Launched on 15 April 2022 with MiTeleférico and the French Government, the platform manages cable cars in real time using RFID, optimizing maintenance, safety and operational efficiency across La Paz and El Alto.

  • Real-time management of 1,450+ cable cars with RFID technology.
  • Better passenger experience: complaints, maintenance scheduling, in-cabin advertising.
  • ≈ 220,000 passengers carried daily — improved mobility, less congestion.
  • System integration: 1,412 RFID tags, 20 readers, 20 antennas (plus reserves).
