Water Leak Detection: Pressure and Flow Rate with Leak Points

WaterGuru

Detail your analysis and explain it.

Sparkoper

On average, utilities lose about 20% of their water due to leaks—resulting in wasted water, energy, treatment chemicals, and money.

In the graph above, you can see how WaterGuru monitors pressure and flow rate data to detect leaks in real time. In one of our client cities, a drop in pressure was detected, leading to the discovery of a slow underground leak. WaterGuru uses actual sensor data—pressure, flow rate, pipe material, and age—to predict and pinpoint leaks before they escalate into major issues.

By analyzing data from real networks, not simulations, WaterGuru allows utilities to prioritize inspections and repairs. For example, iron pipes have been found to leak more frequently than PVC ones, and WaterGuru’s insights help to focus maintenance efforts on older or more vulnerable sections of the network.

Think of how much time and money you can save by locating leaks faster, even before they cause major damage. That’s the proactive management that WaterGuru provides.
