One of our utility partners faced issues with inefficient resource allocation. In one region, they assigned too many workers to a small project, while in another, they lacked the necessary crew for a larger development. This led to delays, wasted resources, and increased costs.
With WaterGuru, they were able to balance workforce and material allocation based on project size, region, and resource availability. As shown in the graph, AI helped the utility assign the right amount of workforce and materials for each region, ensuring smoother operations. For example, a large commercial project in the East required more resources, while smaller residential projects in the North could be completed with fewer resources.
The dataset includes real connection projects, covering workforce assigned, materials used, and completion times. By using WaterGuru, the utility streamlined operations, reduced costs, and ensured timely project completion.
